Review the sample on the intended basis

Provide a size reference or agreed measurement set and identify how the sample will be assessed. During a fitting, record specific observations rather than a general request to make the dress more flattering. Note the location of the issue and whether it changes with movement. Consolidate comments before sending them so the next stage has one coherent direction.

Keep approvals connected to the final design

A change to the main fabric, neckline or internal construction may require another review. Confirm the accepted version before discussing a repeat order.
