These general terms apply to the CLIN Apparel website and early project discussions. Every dress development, bridal, made-to-measure or production project is also governed by its accepted quotation, invoice or written agreement. If project-specific written terms differ from this page, the project-specific terms apply.

Website and enquiries

Website content describes our general capabilities and does not constitute a binding quotation, guaranteed capacity or promise of a particular result. Submitting an enquiry does not create a manufacturing contract. We may accept or decline a project after reviewing its design, materials, quantity, timing and technical requirements.

Quotations and payment

Quotations are based on the information available at the time and may change if the design, fabric, trims, measurements, quantities, finishing, packaging, shipping method or schedule changes. Sampling, additional revisions, special sourcing and rush work may be priced separately. Payment stages, currency and banking details are confirmed in writing for each project.

Sample development and approvals

A one-piece sample is a development step used to review silhouette, fit, construction, materials and workmanship. Revisions may be required before approval. The client is responsible for reviewing samples, measurements, colours, materials and written specifications and for providing clear approval before production. Bulk production follows the approved sample and confirmed specification, subject to normal manufacturing tolerances.

Made-to-measure and bridal projects

Fit depends on accurate measurements, body posture, design ease, fabric behaviour and fitting feedback. Measurements supplied remotely are the client’s responsibility unless CLIN Apparel confirms otherwise in writing. Made-to-measure does not mean that every fitting adjustment can be predicted without a physical fitting, and local alteration may still be appropriate.

Materials and handmade variation

Fabric shade, texture, embroidery, lace placement, hand finishing and other material characteristics can vary slightly between samples and production lots. Availability and supplier lead times can also change. We will discuss material substitutions or significant construction changes before proceeding when reasonably possible.

Timing, delivery and customs

Development and production timelines are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Timing may be affected by approvals, revisions, material supply, payments, courier service, customs or events outside reasonable control. The client is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for import duties, taxes, permits or customs charges unless the accepted quotation states otherwise.

Design rights and confidentiality

You confirm that you have the right to share and use the sketches, references, logos, artwork and other materials supplied to us. Client project files are treated as confidential working information. CLIN Apparel will not intentionally reproduce a client-owned design for another client or publish identifiable project work without permission. Any special ownership, exclusivity, NDA or portfolio terms should be confirmed in writing for the project.

Quality review and concerns

Please inspect samples and delivered goods promptly and report a concern with clear photographs, quantities and supporting details within the period stated in the project documents. We will review whether the issue differs materially from the approved sample or written specification and discuss a practical resolution. Normal tolerances, approved features and damage occurring after delivery are not manufacturing defects.

Cancellation and changes

Custom development and production reserve time and may involve purchased materials. Cancellation, refunds and responsibility for completed work or committed materials depend on the project stage and accepted written terms. Requested changes can affect price and delivery timing.
